Aquadyne Filter Model 30,000

The Model 30,000 is without doubt the father of all bead filters in its class. Boasting worry free maintenance on ponds up to 30,000 gallons. The latest proving ground for high fish load concentrations on the Model 30,000 is a commercial fishery that is running 600 pounds of fish in a single living, growing system with generous feeding habits, yet they claim a most excellent water quality with regard to waste management. At such a heavy load, their practice is to take a few minutes and backwash the system every day to eliminate the mechanical waste from the heavy feeding that goes on in the commercial facility.

In the average large pond installation, the sheer volume of the Model 30,000 will allow you to backwash as seldom as once every 3 weeks.

The 30,000 moves filtration well into the commercial category, supporting extremely high pond or fish run water capacities with very heavy fish loads. Commercially rated equipment in this catecory can run up to $9000 and $10,000. But the 30,000 comes well under that price point, allowing high flow rates and exceptional solids removal at heavy loads.

This model includes the Dynamax air assisted backwash which makes this model extremely efficient in all ranges of waste loading. This unit will efficiently filter 30,000 gallons of water with up to 660 pounds of fish or other aquatic inhabitants. Even under the heaviest of waste loading, the Dynamax will break up a loaded media bed with ease.

The 30,000 is easily suited for applications where high volume ponds, research applications, or aquariums need to have exceptional performance under the most abusive aquatic circumstances without breaking the bank. The large media bed allows for an excessive accumulation of beneficial bacteria to consume very high amounts of ammonia and nitrite.
